Kanyakumari Resorts, Kanyakumari Hotels, Kanyakumari Restaurants, Tamilnadu



Ingredients
  •  Egg - 3
  • Thickened milk - 2 cups
  • Sugar - 1/2 cup
  • Vanilla essence - 1 tea spoon
  • Salt - a pinch

Method
  • Beat the contents of egg well with egg beater
  • Mix thickened boiled milk, sugar, essence and pinch of salt
  • Beat well again for 30 minutes/till it becomes fluffy
  • Take the vessel for preparing the pudding and heat it   with 2 tea spoons of sugar
  • After the sugar turns brown remove it from fire, fill the vessel with the pudding mixture
  • Steams cook the pudding for 15 minutes in the cooker
  • Cool it and keep it in the refrigerator
  • Cut it nicely and serve with jelly
  • Bottom will be dark brown; middle will be cream in colour and put jelly on top
